New graduate courses in discrete choice are offered on campus

In 2019-20 the UC Davis Transportation Technology and Policy program will be teaching two graduate courses in discrete choice modeling. Giovanni Circella will be teaching an “introduction to discrete choice modeling” course in FALL 2019.  David Bunch will be teaching “advance choice modeling" in WINTER 2020.

David Bunch wrote that “My intention is to try and create a course with a lot of hands on work and applications, and to tailor the course (within limits) to support graduate students research needs.  I am structuring it as a 4-unit course that on paper specifies 3 lecture hours and 3 “lab hours” per week, which fits with what I just described. “

I expect these courses will include designing stated preference surveys as well as relevant econometrics.
